Phase 1 - Discovery Outline

Our Discovery Phase is a comprehensive 8-week program designed to align your workforce's potential with your organizational goals. Through this engagement, we aim to:

  • Understand Employer Needs

    • Evaluation: Our first priority is to assess your current DEI and talent practices, focusing on the integration of support for women. This involves analysing demographics, culture, and climate to pinpoint any barriers that we can help you to address.

    • Understand Employee Needs: We talk to women within your organisation to ensure that we understand their unique needs.

    • Strategy Development: We work with you either to enhance your existing strategy or to devise a new gender diversity strategy making sure that there is alignment between organisational needs and the needs of female employees. This step includes looking at how much Oka can help, where Oka can help and where you would like our assistance. At this stage we also ensure that clear goals, timelines, and metrics for tracking progress are established.

    • Define Mentor Capability Model: Alongside Oka’s AI mentor, we assess your real life mentoring needs (e.g. number of mentors, level of experience, mentors internal or external to your organisation) and how we can meet them. We also work with you to agree clear standards to guide the mentoring process.

    • Define Ally Capability Model: Similarly, we work with you to create standards that support effective allyship within your organization.

    • Define ‘White Label’ Requirements: We customize our content and approach to align with your brand's unique requirements, ensuring Oka reflects your organizational ethos. For instance, we can integrate materials related to your values, mission, objectives, and policies into the platform seamlessly, complementing our psychologically supported resources.

  • Roadmap from Pilot to Full Deployment: We provide a clear and actionable roadmap, guiding you from the initial pilot phase to full-scale implementation across your organization.

Outcome

By the end of the Discovery Phase, you will have a detailed understanding of both employee and employer needs, a customized framework for mentorship and allyship, and a strategic plan for rolling out these models across your organization. This phase lays the groundwork for empowering your workforce and fostering an environment that supports growth, innovation, and sustained success.
